I recently met Paul at a self-publishing seminar. He gave excellent advice on the self-publishing process and how to market a book once it's in print. I'm reading his novel The Cielo right now and it's a wonderful read. It won several awards, and I highly recommend getting a copy if you haven't already. Well, I should return the compliment. Dean and his friend James Reynolds personally rounded up financing and published Frank Zeidler's memoirs, "A Liberal in City Government. Historian John Gurda calls it "the political testament of a singular figure in modern American history."

Paul and I recently taped an interview about his book that will air on West Allis Cable Access Channel 14 in the coming weeks. I'll post more details as soon as I know them.
